10” Plastic Test Jar

Take hydrometer readings and fermentation samples with the Craft a Brew 10” Plastic Test Jar, a reusable testing cylinder designed for gravity readings in beer, wine, mead, cider, and other fermented beverages. This plastic test jar provides a convenient vessel for floating a hydrometer while measuring original gravity, final gravity, potential alcohol content, and fermentation progress during brewing and fermentation.

The test jar features graduated volume markers in both ounces and milliliters to assist with sample measurement and small-volume brewing adjustments. Its tall narrow design is sized for hydrometer use while helping minimize the amount of liquid needed for testing.

In addition to gravity readings, the jar can also be used for collecting fermentation samples or scaling backsweetening additions during recipe adjustments. The plastic construction offers a lightweight alternative to glass testing cylinders.

Widely used by homebrewers, winemakers, and mead makers, the Craft a Brew 10” Plastic Test Jar provides a simple tool for gravity testing and fermentation monitoring.
