A forester’s axe for felling medium to large sized trees. Also, a great all-purpose companion on the farm or ranch. Ergonomic US-hickory handle with unique anti-slip paint for better grip. The head shape is the classic "Yankee" pattern. Each hatchet comes with a heavy-duty leather sheath.

The 80/220 sharpening puck by Adler has been specially developed to bring worn axes and hatchets back to life. Each puck is made in Germany and consists of ceramic with a uniform grain, which means that the stone grinds faster and no oil is required for sharpening.
Application: The coarse side is used when the blade has become nicked or dull. Use the fine side to maintain a sharp edge. Work in a circular motion of the wrist/forearm over the curve of the blade from top to bottom. Sharpen both sides evenly and maintain the curve of the blade. Apply water to the sharpening puck to achieve better results.
