- Designed primarily for planetary observation "Moon; Jupiter; Mars and Saturn and more" but great for deep sky objects too; comfortable eye relief averaging 16mm across the series; threaded for standard 1.25inch astronomy filters
- 58 degree field of view: 2.5-25mm focal length; equipped with rotated adjustment eyepiece barrel and eye convertible rubber ring for eye; give maximum detail and definition for high transmittance and contrast ratio with least lateral chromatic aberration
- Each eyepiece has 5 lens elements in 3 groups; exceptional at nearly eliminating lateral color aberration and light scatter while retaining excellent sharpness contrast and definition
- Really sharp planetary images are only possible using an IR/UV blocking filter; this Astromania filter only allows the visible light between 400 and 780nm through; the UV and IR regions of the spectrum are completely blocked
- Sharp Images: A CCD camera is not only sensitive to visible light but to other wavelengths; planets are out of focus in the IR region; the Astromania filters only lets through the visible light; meaning sharp planetary images
