No More Cries of “Turn That Thing Down!” Guitar players from all walks of life understand the challenges presented with cranking our favorite amps to achieve complete tonal bliss, namely the issue of intense volume levels that come with the all-on-11 philosophy. Celestion has answered the call with the Peacekeeper, a lower wattage, attenuating speaker designed with amp purists in mind. Unlike traditional attenuation with a separate load box, the Peacekeeper’s proprietary dual voice coil design works directly with your amp to produce all the warmth and authority you crave from your traditional speakers, while the reduced input sensitivity drops the overall volume without altering the character of your amp. The result? Achieving your amp’s high-volume “sweet spot” at a more manageable volume level. Not only do Sweetwater’s guitar players (and their families) enjoy this new decibel freedom, but they also note the Peacekeeper’s added utility as a great speaker
