The Grey Owl Tenderfoot is the perfect first paddle for young canoeists ready to discover the joy of paddling. Designed specifically for paddlers aged 8 and up, this youth canoe paddle combines lightweight basswood construction with an ergonomic oval shaft that fits naturally in smaller hands, making every stroke smooth and controlled. The 3-ply laminated basswood blade provides stable tracking through the water while remaining light enough (just 18-20 oz) to prevent arm fatigue during those exciting first adventures on the lake. With epoxy-reinforced tip protection and a durable UV-resistant finish, the Tenderfoot handles everything from rocky shorelines to summer camp dock bumps, giving young paddlers the confidence to explore while parents appreciate the quality that will last season after season.
