Top Collection Large 20" Quan Yin Standing on Dragon Statue. Premium Resin - White Marble Finish. Asian Goddess of Compassion and Mercy. Buddhist Deity Protector of Women. Collectible Decor Sculpture.

This is a Top Collection large statue of Guan Yin - Bodhisattva of compassion and mercy and protector of women. Highly respected and bears different versions of the name in Asian cultures such as Kwun Yum in Hong Kong and Quan Am in Vietnam. It is the white marble version of our cold cast bronze statue in the same design. She wears a flowing robe and stands on a dragon with her hands elegantly crossed at the wrist and pointed downwards - her right hand tipping the Sacred Vase and her left hand in the Vitarka Mudra. The Sacred Vase contains pure water - the divine nectar of life, compassion, and wisdom – with the quality of removing suffering, purifying the defilement of body, speech and mind, and lengthening life. Guan Yin usually uses a willow branch to sprinkle the nectar, but here she is tipping the whole vase upon devotees as a blessing for physical and spiritual peace. Vitarka Mudra is a gesture that represents the transmission Buddhist teachings, and here Guan Yin has the middle finger and thumb touching each other to symbolize great compassion. Measuring at a stunning 20 inches tall (a little under 2 feet) and 7.5 inches at the base, this regal representation of Guan Yin displays exquisite craftsmanship - made from premium resin with a marble finish. It looks and feels just like real marble with a substantial weigh to it, which is sure to impress visitors. The product is sturdy and fits nicely with any decor at home, office or garden. Use a clear protectant to preserve the color and paint from water and UV damage for outdoor purposes. Move inside when temperatures are extreme. Packed with molded Styrofoam in its own beautiful gift-box, it is ready as a present for any occasion and ideal present for enthusiasts of Eastern deities and East Asian cultures.
